I remember the first time I heard this quote when I was a young man and it has forever resonated with me.

“You don’t buy life insurance because you are going to die, but because those you love are going to live.”

I was introduced to the Life Insurance business at 22, I knew very little about it and even though I was married with our first son on the way, I placed very little value in it, afterall we were young, healthy capable adults- Looking back more like kids having kids- But Hey, what could go wrong!

As our son Blake began to develop at a very slow pace, but he was a happy baby ( Still Is ) many mental and physical challenges began to emerge, as we discovered the reality for our son, he would not get to the lead the same lives we would. Perspectives changed, life's challenges allow you to see the world differently. It was a moment of clarity, knowing that he would require a lifetime of care from us, it also forced us/me to examine our own mortality and The proverbial, What If ? Life has a way of surprising us.

Life Insurance was and is the one thing that gives me the peace, knowing that his life and/or lifestyle wouldn't suffer as a result of my untimely passing. Nor would it put undue responsibility and financial strain on his younger brother

We as a family have had our fair share of misfortune, that's just life.. We all have a story.

On the lighter side-

My professional experience: I have enjoyed a 30+ year career as a mortgage and real estate as Broker-Owner. This has been extremely valuable in allowing me to help families navigate the complexities of both Life Insurance and Fixed Annuities. Additionally, my certification as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, provides me with unique insight in helping families prepare for retirement and end of life situations.

I stay actively involved in helping others as a coach and mentor for people looking to grow personally and professionally. My wife and I have been married 31 years, we have our two boys Blake and Corbin, were proud parents that's for sure. Joanna and I are actively involved as Engaged Encounter presenters for our church, we host weekend retreats for engaged couple's looking to be married in the church. We are also certified coaches for our local Special Olympics. Yes we stay very active.

As a Life Broker, I have purpose in being able to help shine a light, make life better for others even on those darkest of days. I get to play a very significant role in helping families secure their future, as it brings great meaning to me. I believe we all have a legacy to leave and for me it's the beauty of being able to serve others, and have long lasting impact on making their lives better. !
